The pre-CBS days Fender Stratocaster was a thing of beauty indeed. A pure tone embraced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Hank Marvin and Eric Clapton; a blank canvas onto which the guitarist can impression themselves. This one's mine.
Great shot! I am a silver halide, B&W man and I simply adore close ups as well!
But for your information, Jimi never played pre-CBS Strats! All his Strats had either the "Transition" logo (large and gold) on a standard or large headstock, or the large and black '68 one (think Woodstock ).
Moreover, Strats of that period had one "butterfly" string retainer and vintage (obviously haha!), slotted tuning pegs. :-P
Yours is a contemporary USA Strat.
Although a Strat (and Tele) lover, I simply do not like the three-colour sunburst... Oh well, I am weird anyway

Please fave it to support your own work and look at the other wonderful pieces!
Keeping taking musical shots!
